The bristles are soft and great if you prefer a gentle brushing. However, the bristles keep falling out. This is one of the most comfortable toothbrushes I've tried. It is very soft, but also removes yellow plaque from teeth and cleans well in hard-to-reach places in the mouth. I'm very happy with this dental clear and look forward to trying something new from the Moon collection.
