Interesting product, long lasting color
I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Thank you @nyx for sending this over so I could try it out! Product was gifted in exchange for my review. I was quite curious about how this product would feel on my lips as it's marketed as a smushy matte lip balm. Having used it for 6 wee...

Cute, casual everyday balm
BRUTALLY HER, BRUTALLY HONEST: This is the only lip balm I've ever really used, so I'm judging it based purely on what it does, not how it stacks up. ○ Packaging: 8/10 It's cute! It's small enough to fit in my pockets and I think the round cap is a nice touch. It sort of reminds me of what Rare Be...

Works well with a secret plus!
I have a few colors and love the texture and diffused colors and scents. But it has a secret function: Idk HOW it does this but its PERFECT at taking off my super-stay lipsticks. Matte, vinyl, whatever—i do a layer before washing my face and its like magic. Better than oil. It works great for its purpose but honestly i would buy it forever just to take off that red lippie at the end of the night.
Not Hydrating
Short version for those who don't want all the details: Soft wash of color, balmy feel but *not* hydrating. I wanted to try these after seeing so many reviews and the thought of a matte balm was appealing. I picked up four colors since theyre on sale. I do love the colors - they're on the sheer side which suits my personal preferences but if you want something highly pigmented then you may not like the color payoff. The color is soft and diffused, and for me they have all applied smoothly and look lovely. The balm itself does feel smooth and almost serum-like which is another thing I like vs your typical waxy, glossy, or oily balms. However, they're not hydrating. my lips dried out from using them for just a couple days, and I had started out with smooth hydrated lips. I feel like calling these lip balms is a big stretch. They're definitely not as drying as any other matte lip products I've used, but they are definitely drying rather than hydrating. With that said, for me personally I especially love the Snuggle Szn shade and absolutely would buy that shade again as for me it's a perfect 'my lips but better' shade - if you keep up with a good nighttime lip care routine (scrub + good traditional balm/lip mask overnight) to keep your lips hydrated and maybe just not use this every day, it helps keep your lips from getting dried out while using this 'balm'.
I use these as blushes
They are very sheer and velvety that's why I tried it out as a blush and it works better than liquid blush textures because I don't like heavy blush application, just a little touch of color to my cheeks
Pretty 😍
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Smushy Matte lip balm is just wonderful! It smells so delicious that I can eat it! Delicate chocolate shade, delicate creamy base softly colors and does not dry out lips! I want to try other shades😍

Did they not test this before launch?
I picked up two shades Smudge Fudge and Soft Sorbet and both are terrible. The product comes out and applies in a streak, the applicator doesn't smooth the product out as you apply so it is patchy smears, completely bare spots, and gloss of product all at the same time. Trying to smooth it out with the applicator just causes more streaks. if I use my finger tip to smooth it out and lightly tap it could be almost okay but absolutely not worth the money or effort
