i'm a chronic travel size hoarder because i have really strange hair and i have never found a shampoo that works for my odd routine of washing every day and a half. my hair is very porous, wavy (2b-ish) and the bottom half of my hair has been thru 7 years of blonde balayages, so its dry and fairly straight but somewhat healthy- not straw. my scalp gets oily fast and builds up dry shampoo too quickly, so i cant really use it and never go more than two days without washing. before using this, i had buildup visible under my nails when scratching my scalp, so i knew it was dirty. I used two quarter sized amounts and it lathered very well. i scrubbed for like a minute and it felt clean. checked my scalp and the buildup was pretty much gone, but it wasn't making the squeaky clean noise i usually feel when i squeeze the excess water out. i didnt use conditioner and i didnt do anything but let my hair air dry. i even forgot to use a microfiber towel or tshirt to slightly towel dry my hair and used a regular one, which really should have made my hair frizzy and stringy. my hair has actually never looked better. it smells good, feels soft and isnt oily around my ears the next day. i still have volume so its not weighing down my hair. it doesnt feel or look greasy. the shampoo alone is better than the 70 dollar oribe mask i bought. this shampoo is cleansing without removing 100% of oils, just 99%. who this is for: people who wash their hair almost every day. people who rarely style or blow dry (bc you have to wash daily) people with dehydrated hair people who want a low maintenance hair routine people with a lot of hair (if your hair is sparse i fear it might get oily quickly and be noticeable)

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This is a horrible shampoo for me. I'm returning the Shampoo, Conditioner and styling lotion. It sits very heavy on my fine curly hair. Made my hair feel coated, dry and puffy. The next day it made my hair very greasy at the roots and the lengths dry. My hair also became very brassy. I used the Smoothing Shampoo, Conditioner and the Smoothing Lotion. Need to return all three. I will try Redken All Soft Mega Curls next. I used to like the Redken All Soft Mega, and then All Soft. So I'm going to try to get Redken All Soft Mega Curls. I just want soft hair that I can straighten when I want. I don't want coated dry puffy brassy hair.
Caused hair loss
Bought this with the matching conditioner, after a few uses noticed my hair falling out way more than the shampoo I was using before but decided to finish the bottles anyways to get my moneys worth. After a few months of use my hair is noticeably less full.
