I have thick, coarse, silver hair cut very short (at Ulta) and this tames the frizz and conditions my hair. Can't say enough, it doesn't dry out my hair, looks natural however I style it and only use a little for my thick hair. It's not inexpensive but it creates perfect styles every time. Which is worth it to me. Also, I'm chemical-sensitive and this doesn't bother my scalp or cause itching
