pigment differs between shades

I saw that they reformulated these shadows, and thought I might give this shade another chance because it looked better in the new swatch. Any sparkle or shimmer that the old one (allegedly) had would just immediately fall out upon application. You'd be left with a matte black eye every time (which is what the shade carbon is for). I'm so thrilled they reworked this color to make it into a proper black shimmer! Now it's perfection. I knocked a star off because we've now gone down from 1.5g to 1g, and we're being charged the same. 👎

I bought some of these, and the liquid dazzle shadow and the liquid one is better. This one isn't near as pigmented doesn't pop the way I want it too. Especially the pink fuscia one it's not very bright at all it's a lot darker than the photos on here. I'd return the powder ones if I could, but their new return window is very short.

Totally obsessed with this shade and formula! I've always been a glittery eye girl but truthfully have never been great with eyeshadow. I typically stick to shadow sticks but LOVE this!! I found it super easy to apply and wear. The color is bold but very blendable and not at all too eccentric. I received this product for free from MAC for testing and review purposes.
