I usually only use my fingers to apply RMS un-cover up which is what I use as my sole concealer/foundation. This sponge is super soft and didn't cause any reactions on my sensitive skin. I do think it absorbs a lot of product though. I dampened it as suggested and it basically lifted the makeup off ...
