I love it
So far it's the best sunscreen i've used on my face. I have a very sensitive skin, perioral dermatitis and rosacea. This product is lightweight, doesn't leave grease or whitens my skin a lot. It didn't give me a rash and protected from the sun well. I will be buying it again.

I believe that this sunscreen probably provides very good protection against sun damage. But IMHO, it's not lightweight. And it's not sheer. When applied to my cafe au lait complexion (Fitz IV?), it's fairly opaque, and it creates a vivid white coating on my skin. That pastiness lasts for 5-10 minutes until it fully dries. After that, the white cast becomes much less jarring and more bearable. But it's not a look that I would wear in public. I prefer mineral sunscreens that have a generic tint and a very light (runny) texture.
Great for sensitive skin but leaves a white cast
I have VERY sensitive and reactive skin and can use very little products on the market. I can not find any other sunblock that doesnt cause contact dermatitis or hives or ezcema other than this. It has a nice effect on pores and texture wise works great as a primer. However, I have a light skin with medium cool undertones/am a fair skinned person and it truly leaves a white cast that is apparent under make up. Because of how rare it is for a product to ACTUALLY be for sensitive skin I wish I could give it 4.8 stars. It's just not truly ideal under makeup.
I will use this forever!
I have super sensitive/oily skin, so I've always had trouble finding a sunscreen that worked with my skin type. This sunscreen is perfect!! Not greasy, super lightweight, and blends into my skin so nicely! But I do have pale skin so if you have deeper skin, this will probably leave a white cast, BUT I do think it will absorb after 30 mins.

Cetaphil Sun SPF 50 is a very reliable sunscreen. It goes on smoothly and doesn't leave a white cast on my skin, even with daily use. It feels lightweight and not greasy, so it's comfortable for everyday wear. It protects well from the sun (SPF 50), and I feel confident wearing it outdoors. My skin stays protected without irritation, even when it's hot outside. A great choice if you want effective sun protection that's good for sensitive skin.
