This might be my new holy grail contour!

I am generally a really big fan of cream contour, so I was incredibly excited to try this out. I don't have a lot of experience with Morphe's face products, and I ...was overally quite pleasantly surprised by the quality and shade of this contour stick. The shade that I received is a cool-toned brown that works well on my skin tone. I am quite pale, so sometimes contour products pull a bit orange on me, but this particular shade ends up looking quite natural once it's blended out. I would describe the finish of this product as natural, it's not fully matte but it doesn't have any shimmer or sparkle in it that would cause it to be a shiny finish. I have dry skin, so I prefer products with this kind of finish. Overly matte products have a tendency to highlight the drier areas of my face, and this contour stick's finish really helps smooth out any minor dry patches that might be peeking through. I also liked that it didn't cling to any dry patches or hair on my face, which I feel contributed to the overall finish being very flattering. This contour stick is quite slim, which I am a huge fan of. It was incredibly easy to use this to contour in my nose and brow area, but it is also large enough that it is easy to apply as a cheek or jaw contour as well. Some other contour sticks are quite thick, or deposit too much product in small areas like the nose and brow bone, but Morphe has created a stick that is a perfect size for precise application. The formula is creamy and blends out quite easily; I tried using both a brush and a makeup sponge and I found that either works quite well with this particular formula of contour. I personally prefer to use the brush, as I feel that the makeup sponge sheered out the contour a little bit more than I would prefer but I think for a more natural look a blending sponge would be best way to apply this. I was recently traveling and forgot my brushes, and I can confirm that this even blends in quite easily with your fingers in a pinch. I found that this contour lasts pretty well throughout the day, even in hot weather I didn't notice it moving around or fading on my face. I do set my face with both a setting powder and a setting spray, so I can't speak to how well this would last if you don't set your face with some sort of translucent powder after application. Overall, I am really enjoying using this contour stick and I can definitely see myself repurchasing this when I run out. I think it is an easy to use product that is quite intuitive and has a solid formula that will work for a lot of skin types. I appreciate that the shade range on this seems to be quite wide, but I do think that adding a few more shades on either end is always appreciated.
