Good alternative to SV

While this isn't as shiny/plush looking as Seche Vite, it is pretty much the same thing without the massive shrinkage issue, peeling, and glooping I used to experience using the former. I was a long time devotee of SV, but I kept running into issues with certain nail polishes not reacting well or ju...

I won't buy this product again.

I bought this in store. The last time i bought fast dry topcoat, was by Seche Vite. (Which is by far the best I've tried). I was just wanting to try something new. Although this product does dry faster than if you weren't to use it.. It took a lot longer to dry than my Seche Vite. So i'm sticking to...

Dries quickly but not the prettiest finish

This is the top coat I go to when I'm busy and need my nails dry ASAP. It's a pretty thin formula, which is good and bad. I prefer a thicker, plumper-looking top coat, but because it is so thin I can actually put another top coat on over it later when I have more time. I don't like it on its own, but it works well for how I use it. Doesn't appear to cause any shrinkage, at least with the polishes I've tried.

As other reviews have mentioned, it can get streaky but its an excellent quick dry top coat for when youre in a pinch.

Gel manicures had ruined my nails. A friend suggested using Orly Sec N dry on top of a regular do-it-yourself home manicure. In the past my nails have always smudged at the end of a home manicure. I was SO surprised that I have no nail smudges after using this product.

It does dry very quickly, but it leaves a streaky (and very visible) finish. It makes my nail polish chip within two or three days which isnt ideal. Its fine if you need your nails set quickly and you change polish really often, but don't expect long wear out of this. Super bummed because Orly's regular polishes are my absolute favorites.

I use both the Orly Bonder Basecoat and the Sec N Dry quick dry top coat. I love both of these and use them with every manicure. I wish the Ulta stores carried more Orly colored nail polish, or maybe the Orly polishes are so popular that they sell out fast. The colored Orly polishes that I do have a really like!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
