- File the shiny top coat layer.
- Insert sponge into silicone cap, rounded side first.
- Saturate sponge with acetone.
- Place finger inside cap.
- Soak for 10-15 minutes.
- Slide cap off. Use foam sponge or wooden stick to remove any residue.
For toes with foil wraps:
- File the shiny top coat layer.
- Soak the cotton pad with acetone.
- Wrap the nail in foil, making sure the cotton pad is in contact with the nail.
- Soak for 10-15 minutes.
- Slide foil off. Use cotton pad or wooden stick to remove any residue.

This kit is cute, and the silicone caps are easier to use than traditional foils, but the acetate & caps included in the kit don't do anything out of the ordinary to remove a salon gel manicure. I filed the top coat and soaked my nails for 20+ minutes, but the gel polish from my local salon didn't b...

These Things Are Great!
I am using this to remove soakable hybrid gel and I can't believe how easy it makes it! I like that the sponges don't catch on half removed polish like cotton balls or presoaked felt wipes, and they are reusable. The silicone caps stay on very well, even if you wiggle your fingers, and don't leak like foil wraps (which are included for toes). The acetone bottle looks small, but it is going a long way, and I'll refill it when empty. I do one hand at a time, so I can still do stuff with my naked hand. Very pleased with this item.
