How To Use

For best use, always hold the Safety Razor at about a 30° angle. Holding the logo on the head against your skin, tilt the handle until the blade just touches your skin. Be easy and let the weight of the razor do the work. Don't apply pressure. Keep your glides short, and don't forget to always shave in the direction your hair is growing.

Modern version of a classic way of shaving

The short review: I've been a safety razor user for a few years. The Bevel is a sleek, minimalist design safety razor that has a great weight and feel. For me, it shaves comfortably and I like it as much as my Edwin Jagger DE89Lbl Lined Detail Chrome Plated Double Edge Safety Razor. It's priced comp...

When i received the box with the Bevel products i was very excited. The razor was packaged in a nice, clean, sturdy box. similar to iPhone boxes. The razor looks very nice and feels very solid in your hand. Certainly heavier, sturdier than the disposables i had been using. Instructions for installin...

An excellent shave with room for improvement

This was my first real non-cartridge razor and it has performed extremely well. The quality of a shave depends on the razor, the prep (pre-shave oil), and the blades used. I'll detail each of my thoughts in this package below. The price is high, but the build quality is exceptional and the balance of the razor head is superb. I had excellent shaves and find myself returning to it even though I recently purchased a Rockwell 6S. The included razors are great for my sensitive skin and moderately coarse hair. I obtain a close shave even with up to 3 days growth. I would say that a marked improvement for the next iteration would be a wider handle to improve the confidence in the grip while shaving (the Rockwell does this with excellence along with other offerings from established brands). It was the grip that made me "graduate" from this razor to the Rockwell. That said, I would recommend this as a starter non-cartridge razor due to the balance and closeness of the shave obtained. Importantly, do NOT forcefully press into the skin with this type of razor, let the weight of the head do the work. Pressing forcefully is a recipe for nicks and razor burn. The included razors are mild and are a balance between sharpness (extreme end being Feathers) and being good for sensitive skin. If you find that hair is being a bit difficult, find a sharper blade. Use pre-shave oil before shaving cream application. This has done WONDERS and the oil from bevel is outstanding--fragrance free and creates a nice cushion. I use nivea's sensitive shaving cream and together I have achieved outstanding results.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

This razor was pretty much like a single razor blade your purchase at home. WAY overpriced and cut my legs. Returned immediatly.

Bought this for my son. He has very thick facial hair! THIS IS NOT FOR LADIES! He had a hard time the 1st time to even get it to work. I sent him the directions that are above and now he gets a nice clean shave. He very happy with it.

painful razor

i am trying to be more eco friendly, so i thought i'd splurge and buy this razor. if you have sensitive skin, this will hurt you. the razor bumps i got even after exfoliating and oiling my legs prior to shaving were so painful. i cut my legs often, even though i was extremely light. this product was not for me. i think its a beautiful product if your skin can handle a rough shave.

Q
Can this be left in the shower without fear of rusting?
Asked by GoodNews
Official Answer By Bevel - Brand Engage
Hello! We recommend air drying the razor between shaves to avoid any rust issues and the humidity in a shower environment may prevent it from fully drying. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
