My curling wand was so hot nside the unit that it melted the wand. Luckily the electrical socket had a automatic shut off. I had to use a shirt to pick the brush up and throw it outside. Perfection!
This is perfection - it's lightweight so easy to use but also easy to pack, has different heat setting so it gets the hair super smooth! I have 2c 3a curly hair and it works like a dream but if you have super curly roots, that may make this tool a bit harder for you. But I have suuuuper thick, long hair and I can do my whole head in 20 mins. Love this tool!

I have owned curling wands, irons and dozens of electric home tools I have never experienced an?thing as scary as this.
Difficult to use
really hard to figure out how to use, that is why i downgraded the rating. the instructions that come with it are not very clear
Great tool
My only complaint is that I wish it came with clear instructions. It is not clear how the fan function is meant to be used. I've seen some people refer to it as a dryer but I don't think that is the intended purchase. I like this thermal brush very much. It heats up fast. I use it with the fan on. I think the warm hair helps to get the smooth look that I like.
Great tool!
I have very thin hair that doesn't hold any sort of style. This tool has made it super easy for me to style my curtain bangs and have that "swoopy" blow out look that I cannot accomplish with a boow dryer. I didn't know it was dual voltage before I bought it, but that is a huge bonus because I travel a lot internationally so now I can bring this with me!!
