Start with dry/styled hair. Load up small end of the brush. Pull hair flat and taught against your head, then press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out. Do not use sweeping motion. Apply more powder as needed. Use same technique to fill in hairlines or extend highlights.

Eyeshadow works just as good
I read another reviewer saying it and it's true, this is overpriced eyeshadow! I tried eyeshadow and worked the same, but cheaper. Barely adequate coverage. Not as good as Joan Rivers brand. Will not buy again unless i cant find anything else.

I bought during savings event, very happy with it. I included a side by side comparison that shows a light layer of it applied. You can build it up, no sticky feeling, lasts between washes just minor touch up. Next time I'll go a shade darker.
