All I wanted was a little lift at my crown; instead my hair feels like a rats' nest. I literally just got out of the shower and immediately searched for reviews of this shampoo to see if I was the only one. While I was shampooing and it felt like the shampoo was turning to concrete, I had a panic moment thinking about having to comb it out. I don't understand how the other Pureology shampoos can be so good - I love the Pure Hydration and Smooth Perfection - but avoid this line at all costs.

I usually buy my Redken volume injection shampoo and conditioner. This time i decided to try Pureology Pure Volume Shampoo and conditioner. It left my hair feeling super rough and like straw. I will never buy it again.
I like it!
There's a lot of mixed reviews for this product but one must remember, everyone's hair is different and will react differently to specific products. I have been struggling with oily hair since exploring different shampoos and i found this one to be perfect, it does its job and really cleans my scalp. It does feel very drying in the shower but when i followed it up with the conditioner and some of my hair oils it felt great. This is my first Pureology product and I might try another shampoo from their line but for the time being i am pleased with this one!
