Can i put this in my concealer?
- Asked by Amanda
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEYes! While the PRO.color Mixing Pigment is best tailored for foundations, you can also mix it into your concealer to customize your perfect shade. Was this answer helpful to you

Can i use this for concealer?
- Asked by Jess
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEThanks so much for your question! The Pro Matte Mixing Pigment isn’t recommended to be used as a concealer, since it’s specially formulated to mix and lighten foundation shades. If you’re looking for a concealer option, we suggest our HD Pro Conceal Corrector in Flat White (available at Ulta). It delivers excellent coverage while also helping to lighten and neutralize any shade. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
How will this affect the formula or the performance of the product its mixed with?
- Asked by Josiekat
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEHello! As long as the foundation is liquid, its performance should remain the same. We suggest adding the pigment gradually, testing as you go, to find your perfect match while ensuring you’re not using more product than necessary. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Is the yellow pigment actually yellow because I bought it and its literally my foundation shade, it barley looks yellow.
- Asked by christal
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEHello! Yes, the yellow mixing pigment is indeed a true yellow with a matte finish. It’s designed to add a golden undertone when blended with your liquid foundation. If your foundation already has yellow undertones and you’d like to shift it toward an olive tone, we recommend using the blue mixing pigment instead. Was this answer helpful to you

OMG life saver
I was skeptical about these pigment mixers (I have a hard time getting foundations to work well on me) but after reading the reviews I thought I would try it, and I'm so glad I did. I have a Medium/neutral olive undertone and have had the hardest time for years to find a shade that closely matches m...

They Work, But...
So I purchased the blue mixer because I'm a medium-tan skin tone and almost every foundation I've tried is far too yellow or orange on me. I was hoping the blue would help cool down the strong yellow undertones in my foundations a bit. It does cool them down, but the problem is that it gives them a ...

An Olive Girls Bestfriend
I've got a medium deep olive skin tone. In my olive girl holy grail brand Danessa Myricks I'm a shade 6 in the yummy balm and 9 in the tint for context. Now I got a foundation during the 21 days of sale and while supposedly neutral, girl that shade is orange. It's a luxe foundation though so I'm feeling it because the coverage is great as is the finish. Desperate I pick up this mixing pigment in blue and giiiiiiirl why didn't I have this before? If you've olive tones just buy it.
Game Changer
I bought the blue one. I love this- I'm olive toned and I use this to adjust my yellowish foundations (and concealers!). I just mix in a bit of this with a spot of my foundation in my hand and it's my perfect shade. No more going crazy to find an olive toned foundation that also has a good formula- I just color correct the one I want to use. Definitely made my life easier.
Overall good
I use this with the IT Cosmetics matte CC foundation because the lightest shade is too dark. Pros: it blends well & it's sheer enough that I can put it on top of my foundation instead of mixing it together. Cons: since it's so sheer it doesn't have a lot of coverage. Also the pump is hard to control how much product comes out. I might try the LA Girl white concealer instead
Ehh
Was a good white base came off easy if your using for a goth or white base like me had to use A LOT of setting powder.
Thought it was good until it wasn't
At first, i was obsessed. Mostly with the fact i could finally wear some of my favorite foundations that arent light enough. Until i started realizing this week my makeup will not stay put. I mean, so bad i was taking my base off mid day because of how bad it was separating. I realized the only common denominator was this mixing base. Maybe i was asking too much of it.
