Can this be used as a foundation base for clown makeup
- Asked by Katzo
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEThe L.A. Girl Pro.Color Foundation Mixing Pigment is meant to adjust the tone of your foundation—for example, to make it lighter when mixed with another liquid foundation. It’s not designed to be used alone as a full-coverage base. If you’re looking for a white foundation that can work as a base for clown or creative makeup looks, try the L.A. Girl Pro.Coverage Liquid Foundation in White. It offers buildable, full coverage and a smooth, blendable formula that’s great for creating a white base. Was this answer helpful to you

Can i put this in my concealer?
- Asked by Amanda
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEYes! While the PRO.color Mixing Pigment is best tailored for foundations, you can also mix it into your concealer to customize your perfect shade. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can i use this for concealer?
- Asked by Jess
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEThanks so much for your question! The Pro Matte Mixing Pigment isn’t recommended to be used as a concealer, since it’s specially formulated to mix and lighten foundation shades. If you’re looking for a concealer option, we suggest our HD Pro Conceal Corrector in Flat White (available at Ulta). It delivers excellent coverage while also helping to lighten and neutralize any shade. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
How will this affect the formula or the performance of the product its mixed with?
- Asked by Josiekat
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEHello! As long as the foundation is liquid, its performance should remain the same. We suggest adding the pigment gradually, testing as you go, to find your perfect match while ensuring you’re not using more product than necessary. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Is the yellow pigment actually yellow because I bought it and its literally my foundation shade, it barley looks yellow.
- Asked by christal
- Official Answer By L.A. Girl - BEHello! Yes, the yellow mixing pigment is indeed a true yellow with a matte finish. It’s designed to add a golden undertone when blended with your liquid foundation. If your foundation already has yellow undertones and you’d like to shift it toward an olive tone, we recommend using the blue mixing pigment instead. Was this answer helpful to you

This has helped me and my foundation woes.
So I am a fair person with a slightly olive tone but mainly my ski. Carries some redness as well. Most foundations unless they have an ultramarine pigment in them always oxidizes or stand to orange or yellow. I was recommended this product and I thought why not. I ordered the blue and white to help ...

They Work, But...
So I purchased the blue mixer because I'm a medium-tan skin tone and almost every foundation I've tried is far too yellow or orange on me. I was hoping the blue would help cool down the strong yellow undertones in my foundations a bit. It does cool them down, but the problem is that it gives them a ...

It works…but
This does what it is intended to do, but it does change the formula of the foundation. I used my favorite foundation which is not a matte formula, and after adding this to it to lighten the foundation, it was more matte than it was before adding this to it. I wish they would make this mixing pigment in a formual that was not matte.
Best hidden secret
Love...love..love. Didn't kniw there was such a product out there. I was always searching for the perfect shade foundation and niw, finally I can achieve that. Almost all my foundations over the years have made look orangy. Now I add a drop to whatever foundation I have and Whala..no orangy look. This stuff is the best hidden secret. I wish someone would have let me know about this stuff sooner.
An Olive Girls Bestfriend
I've got a medium deep olive skin tone. In my olive girl holy grail brand Danessa Myricks I'm a shade 6 in the yummy balm and 9 in the tint for context. Now I got a foundation during the 21 days of sale and while supposedly neutral, girl that shade is orange. It's a luxe foundation though so I'm feeling it because the coverage is great as is the finish. Desperate I pick up this mixing pigment in blue and giiiiiiirl why didn't I have this before? If you've olive tones just buy it.
EPIC!!

I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I mixed the blue and yellow into my new favorite Jones Road foundation, creating my PERFECT olive shade. The yellow is more opaque than the blue IMO so I mix the yellow in a little at a time. I am so thankful to have found this product- imagine the possiblilties, no foundation is off the table for us olive baddies now!

I got the blue mixing pigment and use it all the time to fix my foundation shades since I have olive toned skin. It works beautifully and doesn't ruin any of the formulas whatsoever! I just have one wish and that is they should make a lavender shade! I feel like it would be very helpful for people with cool toned olive skin there is a huge demand for it in the community.
