I love the texture and smell of the product. I also like how my skin does not feel overly dry or tight after I use it but the fighting acne part not so much. Saw no change in my skin what so ever. So it was just okay

its only day one of using this. ive never really had horrible skin cuz i barely wear make up and i used to wash my face w soap and water but i live in a cold state with the weather that loves to switch things up. i decided that i should give this a try and when i did i absolutely loved how my skin looked RIGHT AWAY! it looked so much cleaner then just using soap and water ill definitely keep buying this product!!!!

Describe Yourself Acne Prone, Combination Skin, Light/Medium Skin Tone
So I have history with Proactiv. I remember always seeing the commercials as a tween and wanting to try that stuff so bad since my acne in middle school was a nightmare and a half. That's back in the day when you needed to call the toll free number on the screen to order it! And boy....such a waste of time and hope cause that ish didn't work! Well I decided to get this stuff from Ulta only because it was part of their 'Love Your Skin Event' and I'm a sucker for discounts. I didn't allow any saltiness from my past experience with Proactiv to have an effect on my review for this product. I actually don't hate it, for it has its pros and cons. My skin did in fact feel clean after using this every morning and night. I loved the tiny gentle granules that were in the cleanser to give a soft exfoliation. The granules weren't harsh, and for the most part, dissolved and was great for every day use. I didn't have a problem using this with my hands and my cleansing brush, but there were several times where I felt the need to either rinse very well or double cleanse with something else. Sometimes those granules just stay if I don't excessively rinse. Sometimes I don't notice until I'm applying my toner to feel what was left from the cleanser. I definitely recommending double cleansing with this being the first cleanse just make sure any residue or left over exfoliating beads from this face wash is gone. Not completely rinsing off a face wash can be just as bad as not washing at all. As for the claim that it's for acne-prone skin, I can believe that. Being someone that still suffers from acne, I can say that my skin has improved significantly with this being in my regimen. I'm extremely satisfied. Kudos to Proactiv for making their line much more accessible with more range than just the 3-step BS.
Works for mask breakouts
I got this as a sample in the mail and I love it! Any acne I had from wearing a mask for 12 hours is gone and it made my skin feel great. Highly recommend!
