Hot Tools Pro Artist Straight Heat, Heat Activated Straightening Serum

The hot tools straight heat serum helps make my hair super sleek. It leaves my hair shiny and frizz free. I like how it does not feel heavy or weigh my hair down as it is super fine already. I definitely will continue to use the serum every time I straighten my hair. It smells so good!

I have medium length, thin yet wavy hair and I used about 2 full pumps of serum. The smell at first isn't my favorite but it did smell good once I applied it to my hair. I used as directed and applied it to damp hair and dried it. I then went ahead and flat ironed my hair and I believe that it left my hair looking smooth and shiny that lasted even on the most humid day. I do feel like it made straightening my hair go by faster and although it says it lasts 3 washes, I still put it in after every wash as a habit. *I have received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Hot Tools Straight Heat hair serum did not disappoint! Over the years my hair (especially the new gray ones!) has become more wavy than straight. I typically will use multiple products, as well as a blow-dryer and flat iron. When using this serum, I was truly amazed that my hair could get so much straighter with only a serum and blow-dryer alone! It is so much quicker and better for my hair than having to use a flat iron. With this serum my hair feels smooth and soft - it does not feel like I have any products in it whatsoever, which is a huge positive to me. I also greatly enjoy the lack of scent as I can be very sensitive to smells. The product label indicates it lasts through multiple washes- this is amazingly true! Days and washes later and my hair is still straighter and smoother than usual. It helps tame my flyaways, but I have realized I need to make sure to apply closer to my part line than I have been to reduce showing all of my breakoff pieces. I definitely recommend this product and am thankful I had the opportunity to try it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Having more than two feet of thick hair, getting a good serum that doubles as a heat protectant is huge!! My hair stayed sleek for at least 48 hours. I received compliments when I went out on my hair and honestly I attribute than to the serum! It made it stand out! Since I had a lot of hair I definitely felt like I had to use at least 4 pumps to get it through my hair. But I do think it worked well! It made my hair shinier, softer, and sleeker. It did feel like it took less time straightening as well. The smell wasn't overpowering and the product itself tamed my mane. 5/5 in my book! I was given this hair tool to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. While it definitely helped cut down on styling time, I couldn't go as many days between washes. It didn't weigh my hair down on day one, but it did feel a little heavy the second day. Smell is mild, texture is fine, and it did cut the frizz. I prefer products that assist me in spreading out my wash days so this missed the mark for me.
