I received a Shampoo/Conditioner sample pack in the Hydrate for color treated hair and LOVED it. It smelled good and made my hair silky smooth and super pretty. I immediately returned my current brand for full size of Pureology Hydrate. However, the full size smells comepletely different than the sample. It is very overwhelming. I had to read the details to figure out it must be the sage. Is it because it's a concentrate? I don't understand why the samples wouldn't have that same sage scent. It's very "manly" and makes me hold my breath when my hair blows in my face. Might have to return it but wanted to ask first. Thanks!

Was this recently reformulated to include menthol? I just used a new bottle that I ordered a while ago to keep a backup/have in personal stock. I immediately noticed the menthol which I don't prefer, I never noticed it when using this conditioner previously.

I have trouble with my hair falling out more in the shower and when I brush it out. Is this a shampoo and Conditioner that will help that? Or make it worse? There was a question about this already however, it seemed it was accidentally looked over and wasn't answered fully. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This conditioner is absolutely awesome. I can immediately tell a difference in my hair as soon as I use it. It leaves my hair so soft I have to double check all the conditioner has been washed out. My hair has more shine and less frizz and just feels all around so much better.
