Most Helpful Positive Review Outstanding product! Stila magnificent metals dupe!!!
Let me start off by saying I was not expecting these to such a wonderful product. I have tried other products from J.Cat and have not been impressed. I didn't like the pigmentation of the Holographic 3D eye toppers. I was surprised to find this and discover it's a dupe for the Stila magnificent metal shadows foil finish in the pot. Those retail for $32 each. These are just as good!! They are extremely pigmented in their own but if you wet your brush before application this just becomes glitter and shine on crack. I have every color and hope they expand the shade line bc I would collect them all, they're that good!
Most Helpful Critical Review lots of glitter
These are ok. They are very glittery, if you like that effect. I bought this directly from jcat beauty online and would not recommend you do that, if you want this, as their customer service is really, really bad and Ulta has really good customer service, so stick with Ulta. I won't buy from this brand again from anywhere, as they have the worst customer service I have ever encountered and don't stand behind their own products. Also, I tried to leave a review on their website and, weirdly, it didn't get posted. They obviously only post the reviews they want to so it is not an accurate representation of their products. This is a shady company.

I wanted to love this because I love a little shimmer. Super cakey, didn't spread on evenly either with a brush or finger. Waste of $$. I threw it out. :/
Lex from Texas
These are definitely moussey, but not completely creamy. It might flake a little, so be careful about what you're mixing it with. My suggestion is to use a good primer underneath. Overall the color payoff is decent and I would recommend these.

I first heard about these from Kathleen Lights and Jessi Smiles and decided to give them a try.I have dreamer, frosty foil, and crescent moonshock and they work pretty well ! they can go a little patchy if you apply too much at once, but other than that I have no complaints !

These eyeshadows are a nice surprise. Soft ans subtle.
I prefer the gold to the silver but both have nice results.
Sharla from Indiana
I found there to be very little payoff in this. Was disappointed.

This is unique, I love it.

I use Revlon colorstay creme eyeshadow every day, and love it, but they don't have many light shades. Bought this to get more color options with a creme type application. It's awful, doesn't build, spread or adhere at all. I tried every application; with primer, with brushes, sponges and even my fingers. Nothing gets it to stick or build the color. Do not recommend this product
I wanted to like them
Lin from Richmond, IN, USA
I got 2 of these and they each had a different consistency (one hard and one creamy), neither very pigmented, and they both go on patchy and clumpy without primer. I don't know how they apply with primer, but I plan on trying with a few different primers I have, but I'm not holding my breath. They're such pretty colors, but they just don't do the job. I'm so disappointed because I really wanted to like them. :(

I put this on without a primer... patchy. I put it on with a primer... patchy. I used a brush, I used my fingers it just sucks. I wanted to like them especially for the price point but I hate it
Why do you sell this?

This is terrible! i purchased 3 of them and 2 of them are really creamy but crease instantly no matter what i do and the other one is so dry that it literally flakes off my eyes. I was so excited when i swatched then on my hands because they look so sparkly and pretty but on the eyes they are terrible. Pay the extra bucks and buy the colourpop sss.
I like them better than colourpop
Jess from United States
These are have a thicker consistency than the colourpop super shock shadows. Slightly tacky. However these are very pigmented and have a BEAUTIFUL metallic shimmer to them. I have tried some that are more opaque shades and some that are sheerer and I love both. They do tend to crease faster than the colourpop ones even with primer however you can set the chrome eye mousse with a powder shadow. Highly recommend them. I have over 15 of them.
Worst Chrome Eyeshadow I've Ever Tried
Ashley from North Carolina
It doesn't build easily, and if you try to build it up to have pigment it becomes a crumbly mess. It's like putting thick, flakey glitter on your eyes (plus it gets everywhere after it crumbles off). If you want an amazing eye chrome get the Essence Melted Chrome Eyeshadow; it's 1000% better than this ever could be. Even though it's cheap I'm glad I got it on sale and didn't have pay full price for it.

Once I was able to get payofff it looked clumpy
Ivyscissor from Philadelphia
This stuff is trash. It is way too wet to do anything but crease. It dries out incredibly fast after opening it. It's not expensive so if u need to try it ur not wasting all ur money but it was pretty disappointing. Not what i was expecting.
Okay but got a crease
Sara from Dallas
Just as feared, it will crease and cause lines if you use this as a crease shadow; however it is a pretty and iridescent shadow, but I'd recommend using it on the base of the eyelid and not in the crease as it will become cakey there and form lines, if I'm making sense?!
Licia from Hayward CA
Got the shade 'Dreamer' and I absolutely love it! It's the prettiest shade of light blue with iridescent reflects. This is the same exact formula as the colourpop super shock shadows so they're really creamy! This is a perf glitter topper.
bad consistency between product
Nikiitasha from Portland
I bought Orange you happy, Coil braid and 1st attraction. I loved those since they are pigmented. I found if i put more effort into setting the eyemakeup it sisnt crease as easily. However as a hooded eye girl this mousse texture does crease so you have to be partocular with application. I bought Fiery bolt since i wanted a res but that was a mistake. The red isnt as easily to apply and definitely not as pigmented as the others. I was rather disappointed.
Kay from Fresno, CA
I LOVE these. They add just a nice touch to your eyeshadow look. The creamy mousse feeling is sooo nice, lol. They can get patchy so there is kind of a learning curve to use these, but once you know how to use them they're amazing. Finger application is best. I have them in various colors.
Not terrible, but not what I was expecting
Heather from Florida
I bought this product thinking it would perform similarly to a Colourpop Super Shock Shadow, but it didn't quite hit that mark. The product is a lot drier and chunkier than a SSS. If you apply too thick of a layer it becomes really patchy and looks scaly. I do love the way the shade Chrome Galaxy looks and will use up the rest of my product but when it runs out I'll go back to Colourpop. On a side note, the packaging is a lot smaller than a SSS and I found it a little trickier to get my finger in there.
This eyeshadow is fantastic

This eyeshadow is the best! Color is true to picture no base required. Such a beautiful glittery effect. It's so beautiful I intend on buying more for sure!
Just enough glittery glow

It's so beautiful! I love that this gives you a great highlight on your upper eyelid!

Every time I use this with certain pink
eyeshadows I get so many compliments! It looks exactly like the pictures & goes on really well.
Came dried out
Dawn from Clearfield, Utah
I ordered several of these during the spring haul sale and I could only keep 2 out of the 7. They came extremely dried out. Lids were not on tightly at all. Another negative mark is the colors are not the same as they appear online. The 2 I did keep were really pigmented and beautiful though.
Atlantis from Salt lake city
That this would nice as eyeshadow topper. Bought because the texture was describe as fluffy mousse like. Nope dried and chunky with no color payoff. Terrible product.
Cin from AZ
Pretty, but the description was misleading because it did not say one had to use fingers to apply it. Brush or applicator does not work with it.
