Everyone says "It smells great!" but that tells me absolutely nothing about the actual scent. What is it? Gourmand/sweet/powdery/fresh/floral/citrus/etc? (Some of those flavors make me want to vom so I don't want to waste the money on something I'll immediately throw out but this product sounds good enough to try if it's not one of scents I can't tolerate.)

I've been really impressed with Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder Dry Shampoo! It instantly refreshed my hair without leaving behind a heavy residue or making it feel sticky. My roots looked less oily within seconds, and it added so much volume and texture that my hair actually looked freshly styled again. It did a good job at removing the oil from my hair. I like using it for day two or three hair. I just didn't like the applicator on the bottle. I received this product for free from Bumble and Bumble for testing and review purposes. I had very high hopes when I received this product that I had finally found a dry shampoo that would work for my hair. I am currently experiencing the change of life and my hair is suffering. It is straight, fine and oily. It seems to get oily so quickly, think teen years!! When I applied the product it left a unpleasant coating of powder residue on my scalp. I rubbed it in but was left with this. Instead of helping like a dry shampoo would it made my hair get oily quicker. The only slightly pleasant thing I really liked was the smell. However, even that was a bit chemically to me if I am being honest. This product was a real let down for me, but may do better for other hair types.

Bumble and Bumble Prêt-à-Powder is one of those products that quietly becomes a ride-or-die in your hair routine. It absorbs oil instantly while giving your roots that perfectly undone, editorial "cool girl" lift instead of the flat dry-shampoo look. I especially love that it adds grit and body without making my hair feel dirty or weighed down. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts forever. It's amazing for teasing, updos, second-day hair, and bringing life back to limp roots. The only downside is that if you use too much, darker hair can show a bit of residue — but blending it in fixes that pretty quickly. Overall, it's absolutely worth the hype if you want a dry shampoo that doubles as a texture and volume product.
