Use on moist skin right after a hot shower or bath. Applying desired pressure, move in a circular motion to remove calluses. Apply lighter pressure to smooth out and massage other hard, dry skin areas. After use, rinse off pollished metallic head with warm water, then air dry.

Good but be careful
This product does what it advertises just be careful with it. I soaked my feet pre-scrub and it took off my calluses in about 30 seconds. If you have some super gnarly feet it's definitely what you're looking for. If you're looking for something gentle look elsewhere.

I don't leave reviews unless I am genuinely blown away (or insanely repulsed)! As much as I can't believe I'm leaving one of these reviews for a foot file, this thing is IMPRESSIVE. Background: I have thick calloused and very dry feet (thanks mom). Like, they eat through socks in 6 months. Like, they make a nails-on-chalkboard sound in my bed sheets. I haven't worn open shoes in years in fear that people would notice the decrepit crypt-keeper skin on my heels, balls of my feet, and sides of my big toes. I'm also embarrassingly ticklish so professional pedis are a no go. I bought this on a whim and wasn't expecting great results. I've tried full on cheese grater style files, electric sander style files, glass files, the weird egg shaped ones that collect the dead skin (ew), and they always left something to be desired. I figured I have too bad of a starting point to expect anything substantial. This thing has performed a small miracle! I soaked in a hot shower for about 15 minutes, and then used it while still showering in case I needed quick rinses. It honestly didn't even feel like it was going to do much but I kept filing away and then felt my heel… is that… velvety smooth skin?! The coarser and more bumpy side really puts in the work to effortlessly remove the tough outer layer. The finer side polishes the skin to a soft, velvet finish. I didn't even have to use the mini file inside the handle, the main paddle worked great on all areas that needed treatment! I haven't seen color besides gray on the bottoms of my feet since I was a kid! I am elated with just ONE treatment so far, I am actually looking forward to making my feet summer ready. So if you're reading this incredibly vulnerable review and thinking your feet are beyond at-home treatments, I promise I had feet that felt like they walked bare on concrete for a lifetime as my starting point. This file is IT!
Perfect little tool
I love this thing. I'm so happy I bought it. It has transformed my feet with very little effort and discomfort. I love the little miniature part at the end for the detail work and I just am truly pleased with how well it works. It gets nice and clean- it dries completely and it feels not disgusting to use. Great purchase.

My favorite!
My feet are very rough and always have been since I was a kid. I have to get pedicures often to manage it. I have gone through many pedicure files and they always become dull quickly or are not effective at all. This one is fantastic. It has two sides-a rough and a fine. It also has a small file you can pull from the top of the handle. I've had it nearly a year and it' still as good as the day I purchased. It washes off easily and is easy to hold in my hand. I even recommended it to my mom (the person I undoubtedly inherited rough feet from).
best foot file ever
this has to be the best foot file i have ever used. it is effective but gentle on your feet. it is designed well and hard to take too much off so that you are not sore, but still does a great job. favorite purchase in forever! already bought one for my husband and considering more for gifts.
