This product has all the shine. I did not notice a plumping effect. The caramel color is perfect, I have a lighter skin tone and it still looked great.

I received this lippie for free in exchange for my honest review. In one word - LOVE! Buxom is not a brand I usually purchase, if I'm being honest, but this lippie blew me away. First off, the color is gorgeous (I received Rose Glaze). It's the perfect pinky nude. Secondly, it's not sticky at all. I can't stand a sticky gloss. It's also super shiny, which looks amazing on the lips. It also is super moisturizing and stays on the lips for a long time. Bottom line - I would purchase more colors of this and will definitely wear it all summer long!

Feels sticky. It's hard to review accurately as I did not get a color that I would ever wear so I instantly disliked the shade. That makes it very hard to review pigment or how long it lasts because I instantly disliked the color. Felt smooth but somewhat sticky. Not as annoying as most plumping gloss but I'm not a fan of the sensation overall. Not a ton of color payoff. Just a sheer look. Not something I would likely go back to.

Buxom Buxom Power-Full Plumping Peptide Lip Tint in Dolly Glaze (I think mine is Portrait Pink, but honestly close enough lol) is one of those products that sounds way more dramatic than it actually is. If you're expecting the aggressive plumping burn that makes your lips feel like they've entered a bad life decision—this ain't that. It's more of a comfy, glossy, hydrating lip tint with a soft plumped look from the shine and moisture, not the "I can feel my life choices" kind of plumping. The formula has hyaluronic acid, peptides, and shea butter, so it feels more like lip care pretending to be makeup. The color is really pretty—sheer, soft, and easy to throw on without needing a mirror or a full emotional support lip liner situation. It gives that "my lips but a little healthier and more polished" look. Super wearable for every day, especially if you like glossy lips without the heavy sticky feel. The only reason I'm not giving it a full dramatic standing ovation is because the word "tint" sets expectations. It's more of a glossy hydration than long-lasting stain, so don't expect it to survive coffee, snacks, or your general inability to leave your lips alone. Overall: cute, comfortable, and makes me look slightly more put together than I actually am...which, in all honesty, is all I ask from a lip product.
