Before the first use, remove the seal and turn the closed compact over a few times to dispense the powder. Flip the closed compact prior to each application.
Pick up product with the puff. Tap to discard excess, then press over the face. Close the refill lid before closing the compact.
To refill, remove the puff and the empty well from the compact and replace with a new set (sold separately).

Agreed with the negative reviews
Not compact. Very cheap feeling/flimsy container. Product design is poor and is prone to leakage whether it spills or pressure makes the powder "poof" out of container. Doesn't fill any niche - too big and bulky for travel/purse and too small/cumbersome for the vanity. Poor product team management from an iconic brand.

Great product--replace puff over sifter before closing
This is supposed to be a portable version of the Poudre Universelle Libre. Here is something I found on the brand's website: 'After each use, place the puff on top of the sifter and close the refill lid before closing the compact.' -That should take care of any 'leakage. Also, the compact holds a refill, so that is likely why it is described as including a refill--I hope this helps.
Don't Buy
This powder is good but the Packaging is absolute cheap trash. It leaks powder everywhere and feels super cheap. I regret buying it!!!
