Take the Positive Light Precision Highlighter Brush (or your brush of choice) and gently sweep across the powder. Use light strokes to apply to the high points of your face (i.e., tops of cheekbones, brow bone, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow). Remember, less is more!
Doubles as eyeshadow. Apply to lids for a glass-like sheen. Please note: The shade Reveal cannot be applied to eye area.
Tip: For an even more intense highlight, first spritz your brush with Always an Optimist 4-in-1 Mist, then sweep across the powder and apply.

I was no exception to the rule
I bought this highlighter despite seeing numerous reports about it breaking. "I'll just take very good care of it," I thought, making sure to leave it at home and use it gently. Well, no matter, it broke anyway. While it is a lovely color, I shouldn't have wasted my money.
All broken
I'm not sure whether the problem was the shipping or the quality of the product, but it arrived completely crushed and broken into powder.
Heartbreaking consumer experience
Like so many others, I fell in love with the beautiful pigment and wet-looking glassy highlight. This product really is perfection—until it gets any use. I purchassd months ago when I fell in love with the tester in store soon after Rare Beauty launched at Ulta. I finished up my other highlighter and just started using this product. On my second day of use, I dropped the compact. The entire highlighter disc detached from the package and crumbled on my bathroom floor. This is way too delicate for normal lives. I am so sad, but i just can't justify replacing it until they get better packaging.
