I recently tried the SugarDoh kit with the goal of removing my armpit hair. This is the first time I've ever used sugar wax and I love it so much. ⭐️ Things you should know: - If you are plus sized and/or have looser skin near the area you want to sugar, this may be harder to apply. You have to pu...ll your skin taut AND press down on the hairs in one motion. This can be difficult to do if your skin/fat is not very firm. If you have a very limited range of motion due to a disability or being larger, this may not be for you but I'd still give it a try anyways. - Everyone that says this burned them and left scars either heated the wax too hot or is lyinggggg lol. The packaging says heat in increments of 5 seconds. It will not burn that fast. Sugar wax boiling point is over 200 degrees. - If you roll the sugar wax into a ball and play with it like putty, it will be hot enough to glide on the hairs. For me, it took about 1 minute of playing with it to warm to my desired consistency. - This formula is designed to be difficult to remove from the packaging. It takes a special technique to remove the sugar wax, and you can watch that in a video somewhere. - Sugar wax is nothing like the typical wax and the applications are very different. - YOU WILL BLEED OR BRUISE IF YOU HAVE NEVER WAXED BEFORE. If this happens to you, it is not due to the product. I have been waxing my armpits since I hit puberty (over 10 years now) and have thinned out my hairs over the years. Even I still bleed or bruise. The bleeding only hurts for the split second when removing the hair, and the bruising goes away within 2 days. Bruising can be caused by medication changes, diet, or hydration levels - this is normal for hair removal and not a reflection of the product whatsoever. - Sugar can be dissolved with warm water. This product is only "messy" because it's sticky, but it's quite literally advertised as WAX. Once you figure out the motions of sugar waxing with this product, you will 1000% be able to reduce the mess. - You can reuse the same ball of wax for a very long time. I used a gumball-sized amount and removed hair from both my armpits. ⭐️ In my opinion: - If you are seeking a natural alternative to waxing, SugarDoh is perfect and has only 3 ingredients. - If you are looking for convenience and a fast way to remove hair, this is NOT it. This is a labor of love. You absolutely have to watch the videos and develop a technique to do this successfully.
