using a mirror, place the open curler on bare lashes, getting as close to the base of the lashes as possible.
gently squeeze the ergonomic purple handles gently near the root of the lashes & hold in place for a few seconds.
gently release curler before pulling away to avoid pulling lashes.

Looks good, but no so good.
This Tarte eyelash curler curled my stubborn lashes very well; however, after 10 to 12 months the springy part broke. I replaced it. One year later it broke again. I replaced it again. Eye lash curler
The older version that was dark purple was my go to for years. Thought maybe they just changed the color of the curlee, nope it doesnt do much of anything. Will be returning.
TARTE!!NO!! Why did you change it???
This USED to be my favorite curler. Why they had to change it. This new one sucks. I went through 7 different curlers to try to find one that's like the old Tarte. Dior seems to be the closest.
Used to be my holy grail until they ruined it
This has been my ride-or-die eyelash curler for a decade. I get the most compliments on my eyelashes, and I genuinely have always attributed them sticking up all day to this eyelash curler. I purchased a new one because my old one had broken, and they changed it!!!! Now it doesn't even curl my eyelashes for 30 seconds… they droop immediately. It also has been chopping my eyelashes, and the old one never did that! I'm super disappointed and just want the old design back!!!!
Quality went down
The Tarte curler used to be my favorite, it would last long -i had only replaced it once before. Unfortunetly i had broke mine and went to get a new one, and now the quality has gone down. No longer curls nice, used to come with a mini mascara and thats no longer included :( will not be buying anymore , this one feels cheap
Worked well but short life
Same as other comments, spring broke after about 1 year. My previous lasted many years. Moving on to try another brand
