The original (dark gray can) , also has time release fragrance to leave your hair smelling fresh throughout the day. ACDS has a few additional benefits. It has oil control for the scalp, shine as well as manageability. The fragrance is lighter. Best application is to shake can and section hair. Spray approximately six inches from scalp. I used it up too quickly
This product is ok.. definitely not worth the money. This product doesn't last very long, I used it up in about 2 weeks and I don't use it very often.

I wanted to love this so much. I use the Living Proof heat protectant spray as my HG heat protector. This dry shampoo does work well and really extends the life of my hair between washes; however, the IMMEDIATE product buildup is insane. Even using a clarifying shampoo, it takes me so long to get all of this out of my hair. So it does work well and FEELS clean, but be prepared to look like you have dandruff for a week or two.

Smells horrible, I was going to try to overlook it but I can't. I bought it two days ago and it's not dispensing any more product. I am gonna have to return this. Really unfortunate given the price.
Cleans and helps oily hair!

Really good for an oily scalp! It's got a smell that's a bit like elderly perfume but it isn't repulsive. I've actually had compliments on how it smells so not everyone hates it. It works super well! I think if you have a super oily scalp you should try it. Always follow the directions and SHAKE it up well before spraying small sections so it can get in there as it's meant to!
