Most Helpful Positive Review Never using a flat iroN again
I just bought this after reading all the great reviews everywhere and watching utubers use it. Looks just like when I get my hair cut and they blow dry it with a round brush which I tried and cant do myself. This really grips the hair gently. The oval shape is absolutely great to get volume just where you need it. It was so fast to use even for my first try I love how it's just one step and done. I've been looking for something that would style my hair like this for 15+ years and now it exists thank you revlon! I will never straighten my hair again I'm not into that flat look anymore. Hairs full of body and volume and straight where it needs to be. AMAZING! Def must buy
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointing product
I have very thick long Asian hair. For the past 10 years, I've had to use 2 blow dryers in one hand and a brush in the other to dry my hair. If I divide my hair into sections, this technique would take me 15-20 minutes. After reading all the great reviews, I was extremely excited to try this product. I noticed the biggest complaints about this product from other reviewers are that the item is too big/heavy and too loud. This was my experience:
I guess having to use two blow dryers for 10 years, I don't find this product loud or big/heavy. In fact, I compared this product to one of my blow dryer and it's not any more loud than a normal blow dryer. I'm extremely disappointed with the low voltage and option selections of this product. There are only 2 Power Options: Low and High. Remember when you use the hotel's little blow dryers and your only options are High/Low? And when you use it on High, it shuts down in 4 minutes? And it smells like the blow dryer is burning? This is what I feel this product is like. It gives off a "burnt" smell after using it over 5 minutes but it didn't shut down on me. Because air ventilation is around the brush, the hot air blows into your face and neck. This can get really hot and uncomfortable. I think it'd be a better product if air is only blown in one direction so you can have it away from your face, sorta like the paddle brush Revlon blow dryer. I also had to use 2 hands to curl my hair due to the large thick handle. With just one hand, it's difficult to turn the brush and curl your hair. If you're only wanting to brush it one direction and straight down, then it's not so difficult.
In the end, I had to use one blow dryer in one hand AND this product in the other. I think I'd rather go back to my old technique because this product doesn't dry my hair any quicker nor does it give it any shine. For these reasons, this product is gong back to the store. :-(
I would recommend this product if you have medium to long THIN hair.

Best Air Brush!!!
M from Wisconsin, United States
I just want to say that this tool works great and at its price the value is awesome. I have been seeing it for a few years and one of my friends recently recommended this air brush, I tried hers and I fell in love with it and just got mine. It dries my hair fast and gives me volume. I use a smoothing cream to tame frizz and a heat protectant and in about 15 - 20 minutes my super fine curly 3b-3c hair gets straight. I absolutely love it, and I highly recommend.
Best blowdrying brush ever

Best thing to ever happen to my time my hair and my arms, i love it

I have long thick 2C hair down past my waist and figured to give this a try. I've used ones in the past and they are awful. This thing is magic I blow dried my hair about 80% then went over it with this guy and WOW my hair is so light so soft and very little frizz. MUST BUY!!!!
Sara from WA
I got it because of the good deal that was going on and I am so glad I did. I have waist-length hair that I normally let air dry because using a regular blow dryer is such a hassle. This thing makes it so easy to just brush it and dry it at the same time, I absolutely love it!
Emily from Portland
Took longer to dry my short thick bob. My arm hurt, burned my fingers. Couldn't get close enough to scalp so the first inch of hair was frizzy. High setting is so loud you need ear plugs. Might be good for thin hair or just a volumizer on dry hair if you don't want to use a curling iron.

Got this during the 50% off sale Ulta had! But I would still pay full price for it. I'll start by saying I'm not an expert at all in regards to hair and usually don't bother to do much other than comb it after a shower. However, this makes doing it so easy and effortless. I get out of the shower, towel dry my hair, put in a styling/heat protectant product, use this, and then I have nice voluminous, shiny hair.
Not worth the hype

My co worker has one of these and loves it was hyping it up and so when it went on sale I decided to buy it. Let me tell you it is not worth the hype. I have curly hair and this made my hair a frizzy mess. For me it's just not worth it. My hair works a lot better air drying and using a straightener.
Finally caved, so glad I did!

I've been told by numerous friends that this was one of the best drying / styling tools for years. I finally purchased it in the sale and I am so glad I did! I have thicker hair that has an occasional wave to it, and this tool dried my hair and straightened it beautifully in no time at all. I am not very good when it comes to using hot tools and definitely need to watch some tutorials to learn how to use it better but overall I love it so far!
one step hair dryer
Dana D from charleston, sc
it was easy to use and my hair dried really fast. I have used it multiple times with the same results. left my hair shiny and smooth. one tip is to make sure to use smaller sections to get that perfect look. if I try to use large sections it does dry the hair but is less smooth.
Not worth it.

I was really excited to try this, but so incredibly disappointed. Between a hair dryer and flat iron it takes me about 20 minutes to style my hair. After 20 minutes with this, my hair wasn't even dry yet. Finally, after 40 minutes on the highest setting my hair was dry, BUT still needed a flat iron. Absolutely not worth it.

I've had this for almost a year. I loved it at first but then I noticed how hot it got. I was a little concerned. Then whenever I went to plug it in I had to hit the reset button. Thought this was very odd and never had to do this with another dryer before. And today I went to use it and it made a clicking sound and a snap sound when I went to put the prongs in the outlet. It's fried my hair, and almost fried me today. Never again.
SO HAPPY I SNAGGED THIS DURING A DEAL!
Sarah from Boston
Honestly, if you are on the fence, DO IT! I am so grateful that I snagged this for roughly $30 during a deal through Ulta, but trust me, it's worth the full price. Quick and easy, with the best at-home results I have ever had for a blowout. I can see it being easy for touch-ups, too. The cons, which are a nonissue for me, are the noise and the weight; its a bit heavy and loud. So happy a friend recommended it to me!
LadyIvory from Georgia
I didn't expect to be impressed but I am. I have chin length wavy hair and this created a perfect blowout. I can't believe how easy this is to use. Awesome product!
I love this more than I ever dreamt I would

Saves me time and causes much less damage to my hair! Oh…and it's easy!
Honestly "blown away"
Jellyfish from PA
I bought this during the hair event at Ulta after reading reviews that for the price it was a strong contender for the Dyson Airwrap. I bought the Supersonic after much back and forth and honestly I am not sure it is worth the price. Then came the Airwrap and I was even more upset as the brush attachment would be better for my hair. Anyway, back to this bad boy, I had zero expectations it would do anything for me. I almost felt guilty for buying it since I was sure it was going back to Ulta after 5 minutes of use. well not the case at all. I have super thick, dyed, curly, chemically processed hair. My hair stylist looks at my hair with physical pain with this thought of drying it.
So this thing, should of been made 20 years ago. Possibly the holy grail of hair hair care for me. Just wow. Few tips let your hair dry a bit before doing it. Do small sections. I was worried about it snagging my hair literally everything snags in my hair, this by some insane miracle does not.
One thing I wish I could change is I wish the air only came out one side. I am some one that is forever hot so this does make me sweaty but the way it makes my mess of hair look far outweighs this flaw.
Love love it!!

My hair is not long. Only thing I'd change is a middle size for shorter hair.

No more regular blow dryers or straighteners
May from Virginia
My hair is very long and wavy. It's is also thin to medium thickness but dense. With a conditioning detangler and heat protectant this One- Step Air brush is all I needed for the effortless perfect blowout result. The low setting was strong enough to dry all my hair. I didn't like nor needed the high setting. I'm happy with my purchase. I hope is a long lasting tool just like professional blowers that lasted me years. But this is an affordable Revlon tool. So let's see how long it will last. It wouldn't be eco friendly to buy this thing frequently if it's stop working sooner than expected.

I bought this mainly to blow out my 9yr old's hair since she went from waist long hair to shoulder length. I get tired of using the hair dryer & round brush to flip her ends in. I do like that "blow out" look but no matter what I try-our ends seem to flip out instead of in! We have thick/course Asian hair so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
As other users said-this does get really hot and my daughter complains that it burns her ears. I can see split ends in the future with continued use. The "cool" setting isn't cool at all. Yes it does cut down on drying time but if I still have to reach for other tools to get the results I want then it's probably not worth it. So disappointing after reading all the hype.
I use it everyday!
Soph from NYC
My favorite hair tool for drying and styling ! I have thick hair and it doesn't ever pull / get stuck. I've had this for about 5 months and it's replaced my heat tools entirely!!! TOTALLY WORTH IT
Not worth the hype
Britt from Houston TX
I bought this because everyone raves about it and it has so many good reviews but I hated it. My hair is thick and long like 2-3 inches past my shoulders. I thought it would reduce drying time and eliminate the need to flat iron but it didn't do either. I normally blow dry my hair in 15-20 min & then flat iron in 10 min. So overall 30 min to style my hair. It took me 40 min just to use this product throughout my hair and it was still frizzy. I even applied 2 heat protectors and a texturizer. I'm returning it what a waste.

Amazing. No more having to do the chase method with a regular blow dryer. It's a brush and dryer in one and works perfectly on my 3B/C curls
Best Ulta product I have purchased
Miss E from Florida
I took advantage of the sale for the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and totally do not regret it. Its probably one of the best purchase I have done and the best blow dryer I own. I usually take almost an hour to dry my hair and with this brush it cut done the time tremendously. Best part is there was no hair breakage and my hair is super thin so it's prone to breakage. Don't walk, run to buy this blow dryer, would recommend this dryer 100%!
This is my second purchase
Master G from New York
I love this product, purchased my second one after I wore the first one out. I did try another brand but wasn't the same, I returned it and bought the Revlon. I have naturally curly hair but with this product it makes it a breeze to dry and style. I snatched it up at great price.
