r.e.m. beauty On Your Collar Plumping Lipgloss

I was so excited about these after seeing them on Tiktok and seeing Ariana's posts about them… I went to 2 different Ultas to find 7 Rings. The color is absolutely gorgeous but upon opening the tube wasnt full and the oil was extremely separated from the color/glitter. The first application I did was sadly all oil. I wanted to love this but sadly I decided to return due to inconsistency.. I love all of REM's other products though!

Earlier today I left a good review but since applying it another few times thoughout the day, I just ultimately can't stand the pain. Yes it's pretty and all but the smell is bad and it feels so painful. The texture of the gloss is fine but the burn feels like when you get salt on a blister. Maybe it's just the shade "Chuckie" because other reviews have said the same about this specific shade. Definitely returning it. They need to make this without the plumping and I'd be fully on board and would gladly buy again.

Got shade Chuckie and it's absolutely stunning in the tube. On the lips it's still gorgeous but not very pigmented which I actually prefer. It's a very glossy, sheer clear with some purple glitter. The smell is pretty bad and it burns pretty bad. I'm a huge fan of the scent and formula of the drip lip glosses and wish they made them in this shade and packaging. Compared to their other gloss this one is pretty underwhelming but not bad. Like I said it looks pretty but I just am not a fan of the smell and tingling. Wish it was more of a cooling sensation rather than a burn. I'm still gonna use it, I just wish they would fix the little issues.

I couldn't get past the awful smell it has. It smells like burnt plastic / chemicals. The texture of the product was very oily; almost like the ingredients were seperating. The color and packing are very nice though.

I was super wary about trying these glosses since Ariana said they're "not for the faint of heart" in an Instagram post. I don't find the burn to be unbearable. I do have sensitive lips but this product didn't seem to bother me that much. I also don't put a million layers on. I like the sparkle to be more subtle so I use a light layer. I find that putting on a light layer of chapstick on before the gloss helps to lessen the burn. I think the tint is pretty and it does plump my lips. Again, I like subtly so if you like something that stands out, I would recommend a different product. Also the smell of the gloss is half chemical, half vanilla. How they dropped this product with such a distinct chemical smell is beyond me. Only downside to the gloss.
