I received Olaplex No.5 Bond Maintenance Shampoo for educational purposes in exchange for my honest review. The shampoo is very thick and concentrated, which I really appreciate. I have thick, curly hair and it instantly lathered up beautifully, the rich lather and suds make me feel like my hair is getting a deep clean. The scent is very light and almost unnoticeable, which I like, and after just one application my hair felt extremely clean. Unlike many other shampoos, this one left my hair feeling smooth, almost like I had used a conditioner. I also noticed an improvement in the look of my split ends, which is impressive considering how much my hair goes through with flat ironing and blow drying. I really love everything about Opaplex, but wish it was just a bit more cost effective. Overall, this is a product I will definitely purchase again and highly recommend to others.

I received this product complimentary as part of a promotion, but all opinions are my own! I would definitely recommend this shampoo for anyone with color treated hair due to it's intense strengthening and repairing properties - it leaves my hair looking and feeling healthier! It adds moisture and shine while also leaving the hair smoother and with less frizz. It has nice simple packaging - it's clean and good for use in the shower! It's easy to dispense the product. It's $32 for 8.5oz which is on par with comparable brands. It smells nice and light - clean and fresh. It lathers well and are little bit of product goes a long way - I was pleasantly surprised at how little product I needed for my long, thick hair. Plus it left my hair very clean without stripping!

Olaplex No. 4 Fine Bond Maintenance Shampoo is thick and when I applied it to my hair, it just concentrated on the area that I put the shampoo in. It does not do a great job distributing the product throughout the hair if not worked into a lather in your hands prior. I had to work it a little more than I'm used to, to make sure my entire hair was lathered. There were times where I had to apply more shampoo because it just wasn't enough to cover it. In my experience, it was easier to start to lather the shampoo in my hands, to a light lather, and then add it to my hair, making it easier to distribute the product evenly. It has a light fresh scent, doesn't linger and I cannot smell it throughout the day. With other products, there are some lingering scent but I did not get that with this product. It is not a shampoo that will cleanse your hair or scalp. "Received a s part of an educational promotion"
