Hard to open
I received this product for free with another purchase, due to a promo at the time, and I find it to be just okay. The bottle was difficult to open at first, and it took quite a few attempts to get the pump to work properly. While I like the lotion itself, I've noticed that after multiple uses, my skin tends to become dry. I love The Ordinary products, but I will probably not buy them again after I finish this bottle.
Best hand lotion
I use this lotion pretty much everyday it sits next to my bed
Great except for the packaging
I bought this when it first came out and I just "finished" it (I'll explain the scare quotes below). The lotion itself is pretty great. It starts out feeling a bit sticky but that fades fast, then your skin feels pretty good for about 24 hours. It's also lightweight and easy to apply. And it's effective; I have sensitive skin and I get my legs waxed, and this lotion really does help to add moisture and reduce and prevent irritation. My main complaint (and I'm not alone here) is with the packaging. First off, the pump head isn't curved, which means you have to be reeeeeeally careful when using it because otherwise it'll squirt straight across the room lol. Second, it doesn't reach all the way down and since the lotion is fairly thick, I couldn't get a good 1/5th of the product out of the bottle. I eventually gave up trying; hence, "finished". So I'd like to re-purchase this, but I probably won't unless they switch to the upside-down squeezable packaging.
just okay and impossible to open
the lotion itself was just average. its on the thinner side, not greasy and is truly unscented. what really made it 2 stars was that the pump was impossible to open. myself and 2 others couldn't get the pump to pop up. received another bottle and still had the same issue!
the applicator doesnt work
is it just me or is the bottle impossible to open, the applicator doesnt pop up, i have to unscrew it off and empty it into my hand to use it
