I bought this and used it with no issues for 6 months. Then last week it FRIED my hair. My long hair is DONE and still, after washing, smells burnt. Excellent product AND manufacturer warranty
It's amazing, and then it broke a year after I bought it (the prong broke off). I was so pissed I was going to have to spend so much money to have it again (but I DID want it again). Then I searched and there is a manufacturer warranty!!! This one was for 4 years. It was WELL worth the investment. I went to the BabylissPro website, completed the form, took the picture of my straightener with the cord severed, and they mailed me a new one without any hassle from them, and it took them 2 days to do. Now I am just waiting for it to arrive in the mail, which they said can take 7-10 business days. WAY better than having to spend more money on a new one AND the new one is still covered under the remainder of the first one's warranty. Plus it really is a great straightener!
Do not recommend
I have naturally fine / wavy hair that holds curl extremely well. This straightener did literally nothing at all…it didn't curl my hair (I tried it on every single heat setting multiple times) and it BARELY straightened it…I had to go over 1 piece of hair at 450 degrees 5-6 times for it to even begin ti straighten my hair which has never happened before. I could have possibly got a dud because I have never ever had this issue with Babyliss hair tools because I love them.

I have bought this straighter TWICE. The first one I had for about 5 years and it finally stopped heating up. I re bought it because I love it so much. I straighten my hair and curl it. I recommended it to my friend as well for her daughter because she loved the way I would style my hair. Her daughter is obsessed with it as well. However, I would NEVER recommend putting it on the highest setting. Place it on the middle setting for best results.
