Again, I have multiple Q's I'm asking separately to help others. Some reviewers mentioned the nail buffer is very small and weak. Can I use another nail buffer? Can I use any kind of nail buffer or am I limited to the one that comes with this kit?

- Official Answer By NailTek - Brand EngageYes, you can absolutely use another nail buffer if you find the one in the kit too small or not strong enough for your preference. That said, just make sure you’re using a gentle, fine-grit buffer (ideally around 240 grit or higher) especially when prepping your nails for the NailTek Resin & Powder System. Over-buffing or using something too coarse can thin or damage your natural nail, which we definitely want to avoid. Let’s walk you through how to safely remove your mend without causing more damage! For the best results, follow these gentle, step-by-step instructions: STEP 1: In a dappen dish or small cup, add enough polish remover to fully submerge your nail. Mix in a few drops of cuticle oil to help condition your nails during removal. STEP 2: Soak your nail briefly until the product becomes gummy or tacky in texture. STEP 3: Using an orangewood stick, gently push the softened product from the cuticle down toward the free-edge. Repeat this step until the product is fully removed. [ PRO TIP: If any product remains, repeat steps 1-3 until it lifts easily. ] STEP 4: Once all residue has been removed, wash your hands thoroughly and apply cuticle oil to hydrate and restore the nail and surrounding skin. Patch lasted a single day
I followed the very simple directions exactly and the crack came through the polish the next day, unfortunately. The powder shaker also seems wasteful, since it's hard to get it just on the little crack and not on a wide area.
This stuff works!
I have decades of dealing with paper thin and weak nails. Used to do acrylic nails and stopped 18 years ago for various reasons. About 2 years ago, I finally learned how to file them to prevent peeling at the corners and have been able maintain nice shape and length better than ever. That said, one will split or snag now and then and I hate clipping all the rest to match up. I discovered Nail Tek and gave it a shot to prevent one of my snagged nails from tearing or having to clip the rest. It salvaged the snagged nail until that section grew out. I have been using as needed ever since and will repurchase. Trust me, it you use it as directed you will be amazed how you can maintain beautiful natural nails.

This stuff is great! I have a nail that broke very far down. I put the resin underneath and above, and it has stayed secure. My nails are very long and typically, with normal nail glue, it would have certainly broken off by now. I love this stuff!
Unbelievably good.
I had a rip in my nail after having acrylic for a very long time, I decided I wanted to keep my natural nails length but one of them had a tear in the side. The torn nail is now the strongest one. Will be coating all my other ones now. Unbelievable.
Has some dislikes. Need more instructions how to remove!
Surprised how hard to remove. Don't use acetone removers. My kind turned my nails white! What a mess. Nails were quite stronger. Lasted over a week until product began to lift off. Did do as advertise. Now have 2 removers.
