Key Ingredients
- 10% Glycerin: A humectant that is widely known to help improve skin hydration and elasticity, and which can help improve delivery of key technologies within a formulation
- 5% Propanediol: An effective penetration enhancer which can help to increase the delivery of key ingredients by supporting skins water content, water retention and skin barrier
- Sodium Caproyl Prolinate: An amino-acid derivative which hydrates the skin to help improve the delivery of ingredients
- Glycogen: A polysaccharide that energizes skin. It has also been shown to help support skin hydration and essential barrier lipids for more moisturized skin.

Apply to the face in the morning and evening using a cotton pad or fingers.
Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them. If irritation occurs, rinse off, cease use, and consult a physician. The only pro to me is that it feels mildly hydrating at first. But it's quickly overshadowed by not delivering on what it says it does. I was so grateful to be gifted by The Ordinary for being able to have this opportunity to be able to test this new product. I have always loved everything I have tried and an essence is my favorite my far always. I apply it during my AM and PM skincare routine and I cannot express how much I love the results this provides for my skin. . It protects and strengthens the skin barrier. Which is vital for skin health. It feels very light going on, almost like water and sinks into your skin extremely quickly with no sticky feeling and no greasy residue. My skin is glowing from within after use and just looks so healthy and luminous. It also lasts all day. If used at night, you wake up with the same results. I do wear makeup and it hasn't caused me any issues with other makeup or skincare used in tandem which often happens. Also I must mention that this product has made my skin so beautiful and glowing I have had the confidence to skip makeup overall. My skin looks that good and heathy. Overall I think this is an amazing product and especially for the price point it's a no brainer. The Ordinary has something for everyone and the products are such great quality and always thinks of the consumers with the pricing. Definitely recommend this and anything from the brand I have had the pleasure of trying out. It's also a huge plus because compared to ANYTHING else on the market it's so much cheaper priced but trust me the quality is top notch. My advice would not be afraid and just try a couple of products to dip your toe in the brand and see what you think for yourself. I am positive you won't be disappointed. The Ordinary deserves more recognition and praise for providing quality amazing products that an average consumer can also afford. No gimmicks, no overpriced items because of just branding with no proof of what is selling. I definitely recommend go try something!
Great product
I was gifted this skin essence complimentary from the ordinary. I really like this product since I'm sensitive to some scents and this has no smell to it. Also it feels pretty lightweight on my face and gives me a little bot of added hydration. It pairs well with my moisturizer and doesn't break me out.
