Use a light hand when picking up product -- because the formula is full pigment, a little bit goes a long way.
To apply eyeshadow, use a flat brush to deposit color, highlight, or pack eyeshadow onto the lid. Use a fluffy ended brush to diffuse and blend out shadow.
For a more intense color payoff, pair metallic shades with a setting spray.
Use the matte and metallic eyeshadows as highlight shades. Use the warm matte neutral eyeshadows for contouring and defining, and the warm and cool metallic eyeshadows as accent shades.

I didnt want to believe it.
I had heard that Anastasia's quality had gone down. I was a big fan of the Modern Renaissance eyeshadow, and it was finally time to get a new one. Unfortunately I could not find the regular size any more and opted for the mini. It had all my favorites so it was perfect for me. I literally had just opened it, and never once dropped it, but I put it in my make up bag and when I pulled it out the next day the whole brown piece broke off. And got all over my stuff. And im sure I won't get a replacement. I have had pallets that lasted years from them without a crack and just the motion of putting it in my make up bag broke the whole pressed powder. The quality and detail has unfortunately gone down and I just say you should be careful I guess.
I had the original Modern Renaissance - This nice version
I bought the original Modern Renaissance in 2017. It was YouTube beauty's paragon for all to be compared to it. I watched so many tutorials. Defininitely the most talked about palette I have ever heard about. This is like a nod to a nice memory. It has my favorite shade - the raspberry shade and one shimmer shade. That was my other favorite so over all it pretty good. I feel like the actual original palette was better and I miss those other red shades. I recommend if you want a piece of that history in a nice compact form.
Great travel of the OG ABH pallete
My first eyeshadow pallete was the original ABH Modern Rennaisance. After a few years of use, I've come to realize which colors I use the most. This little 6 pan pallete is the perfect embodiment of the OG and so much easier to travel with. If I were to recomend a nice romantic rose neutral color, I would highly suggest this one.
Very cute
This mini pallete is great to start with. I love the neutrals and warmth colors. It does have fallout. I love the mirror!
Not the same
The shade primavera is NOT the same from the original palette. And in the swatches for this mini version it's showing a completely different shade than what you get in person. What you actually get is a very lack-luster gold looking shimmer instead of the buttery champagne shimmer it should be. Highly disappointing since this was my favorite shade from the full size palette and i no longer have it. This is also the only shimmer shade you get in this version
