HOW TO APPLY:
Dispense Tinted Moisturizer on the back of your hand and use it as a palette.
Picking up a small amount from back of the hand, apply with fingers, smoothing over face in a downward motion to ensure facial hairs lay flat.
Laura recommends starting at the outer portion of the face and working inwards toward the nose, avoiding excess application around the contours of the face.
Pat on additional product to build coverage where needed.
Laura's finishing touch, inspired by a Parisian facial technique, is to smooth the remaining product under the jawline, neck, and chin.
PRO TIPS:
To build more coverage, pick up product on the back of hand using a foundation brush and work Tinted Moisturizer into the bristles on a clean area on back of the hand. Stipple onto any areas that need additional coverage.
If a fuller coverage is desired, mix a few drops of foundation into Tinted Moisturizer to get more pigment.

Thank you to Laura Mercier for sending me this amazing tinted moisturizer to try! I'll be honest—I've always been a little hesitant about tinted moisturizers. I have some skin concerns like acne scars and uneven tone, so I usually reach for a fuller-coverage foundation as part of my routine. This product really changed my mind though. The coverage genuinely surprised me. It's buildable, which I love, and even with lighter coverage it gives a beautiful blurring effect. My skin looked smooth, even, and really healthy—honestly I was pretty ecstatic with the result. I also have a tricky skin type: an oily T-zone but occasional dryness and peeling in other areas. This formula handled both surprisingly well. It kept my skin hydrated without feeling heavy, and I didn't experience the usual oily breakthrough throughout the day. The wear time was much better than I expected from a tinted moisturizer. Overall, I'm genuinely impressed and happy to say I love this product. I'll definitely be repurchasing—especially in a lighter shade for the fall and winter months!

Im not sure when the reformulation happened but it works so well. The formula does not separate anymore and i dont find myself getting oily . It goes on silky and stays where it is put.

What makes this product a little confusing is that it's marketed as a moisturizer. Normally when you think moisturizer, you think hydration, glow, and plump skin. But this one also claims to be matte… and it absolutely delivers on that. I can actually see this being a great product for the summer, especially on those hot, humid days when the last thing you want is your face feeling greasy. If you have oily skin, you'll probably really enjoy this. If you have dry skin, though, I don't think this will be your favorite. The finish isn't super flat or chalky looking—it's more of a matte feel. Your skin still looks like skin, but the texture feels velvety and shine-free without making your face feel tight or parched. It does provide some light coverage, which helps even things out a bit. That said, I'm just not in love with it. I own other skin tints that make me look in the mirror and think, "Wow, my skin looks amazing today." This one doesn't quite give me that moment—it's more of a solid "okay." It's not particularly moisturizing, and it doesn't really blur pores or texture. What it does do is give a matte finish, provide SPF protection, and lightly even out your complexion. For me, this is the kind of product I'd reach for when I'm going to be outside in the summer, running errands, or just want something quick that gives a little polish without looking like I'm wearing makeup. It's just not practical in my makeup bag because it's too specific.
