Decent, but not very moisturizing

(Incentivized- I received this product for free courtesy of Influenster and Method in exchange for my honest review.) I tend to look for gentle cleansers, especially now that I am taking Accutane during the cold, dry months. I've been testing Method's Simply Nourish body wash for several weeks, an...d I've found that it does lather well and cleans without leaving my skin feeling too stripped. The formula contains both SLS and cocamidopropyl betaine as surfactants, and while SLS can irritate my skin over time in larger quantities, I find this formulation is balanced enough to not be too harsh. The body wash also did not leave an uncomfortable film on my skin after rinsing, as some gentle cleansers do. Simply Nourish has a subtle fragrance, and I find it fades shortly after drying off. The subtlety is a plus, as I prefer a fragrance-free or neutral scented body wash to ensure it doesn't clash with the different perfumes in my collection. While the formula does not overly strip my skin, I do not find it to be very moisturizing despite the company site claims. Now that the review is complete I will definitely be returning to other body washes that are superior in this regard. In addition to providing a bit more moisture, I feel that a line like Simply Nourish could benefit from the removal of the added fragrance, subtle though it may be, as even subtle fragrance can irritate others' sensitive skin.
