I really wanted the Conair smooth waves to work. Unfortunately it did not hold up, The red light is supposed to turn white when it's ready, after 25 minutes with still a red light I gave up and tried the curlers. The curlers were very hot , the sides were easy to handle as they stayed cool. After placing all curlers on my head and gave them time to cool completely, my hair just fell straight, no wave , no curl, no bounce.

I have a love-hate relationship with this product. Here are the pros and the cons: PROS. Heats quickly, clips DO work, you do see waves and curls right away, trusted brand, better for your hair compared to a curling iron or straightener that gives too much heat. CONS. Bulky storage, the light does NOT turn white as referenced in the instructions, you may need to repeat the process twice with lots of hairspray to last, this is a 2-person job to catch the appropriate amount of hair. I give this a solid 3 stars. I'm not sure I would use this product if I was in a rush anywhere. But will continue to use it to help achieve the style I like without too much heat damage.

I remember using these in my childhood and they were efficient then. Same holds true with Conair's 2022 version of hot rollers. They work GREAT! I let them heat up for about 8-10 mins and applied them using the clips provided. Kept them in for about 15 mins (or until cooled) and took them out for instant waves and volume. Perfect to apply while getting ready for a night out while doing your makeup!!

These hot rollers are very nice to have beautiful curls. I used them in daily life and for occasions too. These are a bit heavy for me as I have thin hair but works great. It would be more useful for thick hair. They creat a beautiful volume in hair, warms up very quickly and makes beautiful curls in hair. Very easy to use and store in this pretty blue box. I love them. Thank you so much for sharing this beauty with me, I am glad to review them.

It's been a long time since I've used hot rollers on my hair, so I was pretty excited to try out these Smooth Waves Mega Volume 2 Inch Rollers from Conair. There are 8 jumbo rollers and 8 clips in the set. It took about 10 minutes for the rollers to get hot. I leave them in for about 15 minutes, and they give really nice, soft, wavy curls. I did have to work at getting the clips to stay put though, and the curls didn't last as long as I'd hoped. Overall however, this is a nice little set that was fun to play around with.
