Bed Head Manipulator Matte works well. I use it for my baby hairs when I use and up do and my husband uses it on his beard. Keeps everything in place even when you sweat.Has a faint coconut smell and a creamy consistency. When it drys it's not hard or crunchy it just holds everything in place.

I'm usually pretty satisfied with hair products. If it has a yummy scent and does what it is supposed to, then I'm in. The scent for the Manipulstor Matte Paste isn't really bad, it's pleasant. I got my hair cut shorter, and I was looking for something to style my hair with. My hair is fine and thin. This was recommended by an Ulta employee. My hair was weighed down by this product within 30 minutes and was flat and lifeless. I would not recommend this to others.

I was expecting the original Matte Wax which was my go to product. Bed Head either changed the product or it was discontinued. Now they are calling it Matte Paste. It makes my hair greasy and weighed down. Very disappointed.
