Hi there! Thank you for reaching out about our Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream Anti-Redness. We recommend using this product after your skincare, as a primer before makeup application. Our cream transforms skin to a universal shade to reduce the look of redness. You can wear makeup on top of this or use it to neutralize redness for a no-makeup look. Q
Is this silicone free?
Asked by Dre
Official Answer By L'Oréal - Brand Engage
Hi There! We appreciate your interest in our Magic Anti-Redness BB cream. Silicones are used in some cosmetic products due to their unique sensory benefits and properties, such as long-lasting effects in lipstick. They also provide shine and softness in shampoo and other hair care products. The silicones we use allow us to achieve a wide range of textures and a high level of product performance, especially in terms of shine and lightness. Scientific evidence does not suggest that hair products containing silicones have a negative impact on scalp health (greasing or other undesirable effects), nor are they comedogenic. As with every fatty acid from mineral or natural origin, silicones are non-comedogenic when used in an appropriate dose in cosmetic products. To identify silicones in our products, look at the ingredients list on the packaging. They can be found under names such as DIMETHICONE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, DIMETHICONOL, PHENYL TRIMETHICONE, AMODIMETHICONE, and CYCLOMETHICONE. NOT Universal Shade

I wish I would have read the fine print more closely--I would have been skeptical of the "universal shade" and for good reason. I usually wear the second-darkest shades of most foundation.(My best match is Covergirl Clean in 110). This is about 2 shades too dark for me and extremely yellow. It takes...

I don't wear foundation, just some concealer in spots and this. I love everything about this product. It does come out yellow toned but I am asian so it blends flawlessly.

this product advertises like a green tinted moisturizer. in reality it has encapsulated pigment that only results in one shade… peanut butter. bb creams should be easy to use with little prep, a subtle overlay. its very yellow toned and emphasizes dryness i didnt even know i had

Disappointing

I should read the packaging more, but this product seems to be only meant for a handful of people. I was hoping for something that only color corrects and to discover that it blends out to a "universal" shade that is for me too dark and orange was disappointing. Would not recommend for anyone really.

I fell victim to a blog article swearing this was a miracle peoduct for ALL skintones. I feel most people suffering with redness issues have fairskin so its beyond me why this oompa loopma orange cream would be a solution! If you have a yellow darker medium skin tone this would be a good solution for a non foundation coverage- however a redness coverup for ALL skin tones this is not. Looks like cheap self tanner.
