This is my first time trying the Luxe Cashmere Matte Lipstick from BB and I am a huge fan! It is truly matte and non-drying and does not clump or smudge. Long wear time without need to reapply. I purchased the color Red Carpet (#878) and it is a cool toned blue based red which is exactly what I was seeking (hard to find a blue based cool undertone red lipstick). It goes beautifully with my fair ivory skin and copper red hair and I wear it everyday. Very flattering and high quality lipstick, well worth the price. Keep up the great work, BB! This is an excellent product. Excellent customer service also, who helped me identify this red color with cool undertones very quickly for purchase!

The neutral rose is a true neutral. It gives a "my lips but better" look. Very smooth, blurring, and doesn't dry out your lips. It's not your typical matte where it can bleed or feather. When it's on, it's on. There was no transfer or smudging. I wouldn't say it's necessarily hydrating though. I don't mind because it doesn't dry out my lips either.
