can dry out but is salvageable
I bought the freckle pen while it was on sale and was excited to try it out. After its first use i put it away and on the second use the freckle pen wasnt working, I was disappointed but stored the pen freckle side down. A couple days later I retried the freckle pen and it worked! I love that the freckles stay all day but be careful to not tap too hard or you end up with a big mole.

I went to ulta to buy my tried and true colourpop freckle pen only to find it was no longer being sold and apparently this is now the closest thing. Bought the second lightest color and the freckles are so dark they nearly look black. They do not blend and cannot be softened so they look cartoonish and fake. The brow product has no hold and is this powder that goes all over the place so you end up with a messy brown halo around your eeyebrows. Bring back the product that actually works!!
Sad at first but found a better way!
I bought this pen mainly for the freckle side. I was very disappointed to find that the tip was dried out. However, after trying the brow side on my face as freckles i am super happy! I just make a few dots and tap it out and lasts all day because its a stain. I get so many compliments and it looks super natural. Definitely recommend using the brow side as freckles. Hope this helps 😙
Too Pigmented and Splotchy
This product is way too pigmented and does not blend out easily in order to make ghe freckles look more natural. The applicator is not easy to use and it makes the freckles look more like giant splotches rather than freckles.
The freckles were great until…
I purchased this in-store yesterday, and it looked fantastic when I tried it on at home. However, later that night, I tested the freckle pen again and found it had dried out during use. I initially thought it might be emptying out on the sponge, so I left it for the rest of the night. This morning, I tested it again, and it was still dried out. Despite that, I can still tell there is product inside because when I squeeze the base of the sponge, some product gets on my fingers. It seems that the product just does not reach the end! Which is quite disappointing! I love the brow gel though!
