There are serious issues with the spring that allows you to open and close the iron to curl. It's like the spring gets too hot, softens, and ends up stuck and the iron won't close all the way to secure the hair. I use the tool the way it is intended. I received this product in exchange for my honest review and I really loved this Bio_Ionic curling iron because it heats super quick. I love that you can lock it and maintain the same temperature without accidentally changing it while curling your hair. I also like that it has a long cord and it really leaves my hair looking awesome.

Love this bio ionic curling iron! It is so easy to use! I have had trouble curling my hair for a long time but I think I was just using the wrong tools- this is so easy for me to curl my hair. The wand is 2 inches longer than most which helps make curling your hair effortless and easy! The 1.25 barrel creates super natural beauty waves and also can create a blowout look which I love!
