I've had better results with much cheaper mascaras.
I'm just starting to branch out from drugstore makeup into higher-end products, so I had high hopes for this mascara. Sadly, it was a huge disappointment. It's clumpy, heavy, and messy nothing like what I expected, especially for nearly $30.

I have spent a better chunk of 5 years searching for a mascara that fits all of my needs, and after purchasing this I have finally found it. It is extremely waterproof, yet easy to get off with makeup remover. It holds a curl wonderfully!
It really doesn't smudge!!!
Tarte is the ONLY mascara that has ever worked for me!! And I've tried everything! When they say no smudging, they MEAN IT!! This mascara works better than most waterproof ones I've tried. I've searched everywhere to find a mascara that doesn't transfer— from high-end to drugstore brands. I have hooded eyes, so my lashes are always brushing my eyelid and after a couple hours, I would always have to wipe off the mascara that would smudge and transfer onto my skin. It would also never last on my bottom lashes and I would always end up with racoon eyes. UNTIL NOW!! I will not try another brand! And this specific mascara works really well, and I love that it's not waterproof so it's easy to takeoff at the end of the day and I don't need a special make up remover. I may try other formulas by the same brand, but this one is totally worth the money and if you're on the fence, just buy it I don't think you'll regret it!!

I have tried a couple of different mascaras. This one, though recommended by the cashier, is not it!!! Fenty's Hella Thicc is still the best one out of the one's I've tried from Ulta.
