As a pro-artist, setting powder on market BY FAR!

I literally got fired over this powder. I'm a freelance artist and spent many years working for a competing brand (the one with the ˆ in the name) — and this Nars powder was SO intensely better (not to mention half the price) than the other brands best-selling powder. Whenever I had a client in need...

Shine Bright Like a Diamond?

I absolutely love NARS! But I was disappointed with this product. I knew it was light reflective- but I was seriously a ghost in every picture! I applied on my face with a fluffy brush just so I wouldn't cake it on too heavily. When someone took a picture with the flash on, I was like Edward Cullen...

I wish the old version still existed!

I absolutely loved the loose powder that NARS had years ago! It was the best powder ever! I am just realizing now that they don't have the same loose powder that they used to have. I cannot comment on how this works because I have not used it. But I am so disappointed to find that the loose powder of the past no longer exists. I suppose I'll have to give the new version a whirl to see if the texture and finish is the same. But I feel like the range of colors is so limited now. I feel like it used to have an extensive range. And the finish was amazing. My clients would look at themselves and every flaw was blurred. I'll report back after I try the current version.

This is the best powder I have ever used in all my years of wearing and experimenting with makeup. We all know how hard it is to find a good makeup setting powder. I can honestly say that I have never had a powder whether loose or pressed, make my foundation look good…at all. Powders left my foundation lookingl thick and cakey, dry, accentuating every fine line. I searched the horizons forever. Need to mention foundation, couldn't find one to truly fall in love with. One day shopping at Ulta I asked the girl working If she could recommend a good foundation and setting powder. She said, have you tried NARS. I hadn't. She showed me the loose Peter and the foundation. We tested a spot on my neck to match. I bought it and used the next morning. WOW!!! I couldn't believe how my eyes. My face looked airbrushed. It did not dry me out. Does not cake. Does not separate. Does accentuate fine lines. Pores are non existent. It lasts all day. I get so many compliments on my makeup and how good my skin looks. Some don't believe I am wearing makeup. My search for the perfect powered…. And foundation, has finally come to an end. I hope NARS never stops making this and please don't tweak it or play with it. It needs no improvements. Let it be. I love this stuff! Seriously forget all the loose and pressed powders out there. You've found it right here. Also, you can use a powder brush or a fluffy puff to set face. I usr a puff. The container is spill proof since it has a net over the powder, so you won't be wasting powder. And it's compact enough to put in your makeup bag to take along with you for touch ups.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
