Shades are inaccurate and orange
I want to start by saying I am not a hard shade match. Every foundation I buy is either fair or light cool, and it always matches. I bought this in shade 115 (light cool). Not only is it too dark, but it's ORANGE. This is not a cool undertone, nor is it for light complexitions. Furthermore, the coverage is bad, and it's cakey and dry. The consistency is like frosting. You can tell not much work was put into the shade range or accuracy. I also bought the concealer in the same shade. It's the same cakey, dry consistency. The color is more accurate though. I included a picture to show the foundation next to the concealer (concealer on the left and foundation on the right). It's wild that those are supposed to be the same shade. I also included a picture with my favorite foundation, which is an accurate light cool shade. My foundation is on the bottom. You can see how dark and orange this foundation is in comparison. The last photo is the product on my face. It reminds me of how girls in middle school used to by the wrong shade of foundation and have that harsh line on their jaw. I don't understand the good reviews on this. It's awful in every way.
Never buying matte again
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I normally always buy matte foundation but after trying this I definitely wont be using anything else. It wasnt too heavy on my face but it lasted all day.
Just glow
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] First, love that this is a pump top. Makes it easy to apply. Second, the feel of the foundation is very nice, light and blends evenly. You can definitely build as needed. Gives a beautiful glow! Also, no scent which is very refreshing. When it comes to removal, a little bit of face wash and it's off.
Good foundation
Good foundation great coverage! Doesn't feel cakey and blends in very well. Good match color and makes my face glowing! Not dried and easy to remove as well.
Better than foundations five times the price
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The Maybelline Lifter Plump and Glow Foundation is honestly better than many of the high end foundations I have tried or have in my collection. Coverage is medium but high medium. I have some dark hyperpigmentation that it is effortlessly covering in my photo and it's completely covered with this foundation alone. Zero fragrance! Blends beautifully and easily. Stays in place all day without any touch ups or effort. Before you start looking at supposed high end AKA expensive foundations try this one first. It really is that girl. It's really really good.
