- Make sure your hair is completely dry and detangled.
- Apply L'ange heat protectant of choice.
- Press and hold the power button to turn the tool on.
- Select your preferred temperature with the +/- buttons.
- Allow the tool to heat for at least 60 seconds prior to styling.
- Divide hair into small, manageable sections (about 1" each).
- Slide brush from root to tip (using tension) at a moderate pace.
- Depending on the texture & thickness of your hair, you may need an additional pass.
- Repeat on remaining sections until desired style is achieved.

How wide is it, will it work with short hair?

- Official Answer By L'ange Hair - Brand EngageThe plate width of the tool is 1.83", and the full brush head measures about 2.4" wide. It's designed to work well on most hair types and lengths. However, it may not be as effective on very short styles like pixie cuts. While it’s difficult to recommend a brush size without knowing your exact hair length, our Smooth-It straightening brush—with its slimmer design—may be easier to maneuver on shorter hair lengths.Was this answer helpful to you

Very heavy and hard to use on shorter hair styles
I'm a huge L'ange fan & use many products so when I seen the brush style straighter videos I thought for sure I'd love this too. However I find it super heavy, and truthfully not so comfy to use. Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This product works so well and is extremely easy to use. I like how you can choose the temp of the brush; the higher the temperature the better it works! I would 1000% recommend this.
Terrible product and terrible customer service
This item is terrible it pulled my hair did not go through smoothly hardly got hot. I returned this item instead of being refunded, for this was refunded for a different item that I kept, which was a lot cheaper and when I called to complain. They told me since I cannot provide proof and this was checked into their warehouse. They will not provide me the correct refund because it is my word against theirs. So other words, they pretty much just want to keep your money.
perfect for some
To love this brush requires recognizing its limits. I bought the brush to see if it would smooth out my bed head and get rid of the part that forms in my crown, and it does! Also great for getting rid of a ponytail lump. Because of this, it gets my 5 stars! However, I have thick but very fine, straight hair. I can see that this may not be a good straightening tool for those with curly hair, though I cannot attest to this.
if you're hair is actually curly, do not buy!!!
I have 2c hair that i often straighten and this did not work!! i returned this & got the kristen ess blow dry brush instead which i love!!
