did not work for me
i picked this up after trying to replace my mascara. i usually use fiber mascara and tend to have the most luck with that. this mascara made my eyelashes look so amazing but at the end of the day it was smudged all over around my eyes. i don't really fault the formula though because this is a really common issue i have with so many mascaras. no matter how well i set my eye area, they'll smudge. for whatever reason, waterproof tends to amplify this. i'd probably recommend this mascara to someone who doesn't have this problem and can wear most mascara without issue. like i said, my lashes looked incredible all day. my eyes looked panda ish however.
THE BEST essence mascara
i've tried multiple essence mascaras (bought out the whole section one time out of curiousity...) and they were all decent but i tried this on a whim after seeing it in the new arrivals. this is by far the best one, also better than a lot of higher end brands i've used. the brush is really nice, im actually able to coat every lash without it all just clumping together. my lashes hold the curl with this on and i haven't noticed any flaking or smudging. i'll probably buy a few of these for backup. i can't believe how good it is especially for the price.
