Best mascara ever… until it's not
I absolutely LOVE this mascara, but the bottle has a little round piece, that you pull the brush through, that comes off 100% of the time within about 2 weeks of starting to use it. Didn't work for me
this product did not work due to smudging. it also irritated my eyes.
Extremely disappointed
Was really excited for this especially since it comes in brown. However, it's very gummy/clumpy and makes my lashes stick together AND dries so fast that that it's impossible to separate them with a needle afterwards. Such a disgrace for the brand name and cost. I even tried buying again from another retail and the same thing happened.

The curve does it for me. I think the formula in this specific mascara by lancome eats. it lengthens but the bristles are thick enough to give you enough volume.
Love the product but hate the packaging
I have used the lancome idole mascara for many years now. It is one of the few that actually does lash lifting without me having to use a lash curler, and the formula is one of the few that doesn't bug my eyes. However, I have to knock a star off for the packaging. Every time I've bought this, is either size, it hasn't taken terribly long for the rubber ring at the top to come off when the cap does. It doesn't seem to matter if I am very gentle with it or not. This is frustrating because that is the part that removes the excess mascara, and it always seems to come off at the worst times, like when I was about to go on a first date with someone I really liked. I hope this can be fixed, because the product really is great otherwise.
