Does nothing but sit on top of your lips
I bought this thinking that because it's a pretty thick mask that it would help with my perpetually chapped lips. This mask does nothing in terms of hydrating your pout; I would exfoliate my lips in the shower, use this lip balm, and be chapped again the next day. This may work well as a sealant on top of something else, but I am very underwhelmed by this mask.

cute but gritty
i have the original to this and i love it i thought this would be fun to have. its super moisturizing like the original but if you use too much of this you kinda look crazy with all that glitter imo. if it was fine glitter, sure that'll be cute. but this glitter is kinda gritty makes it feel like i have a lip scrub on when i rub my lips together. will say im obsessed with the packaging tho but idk if that's worth it for the product!
Best I've used for very dry lips!
I've tried many gels/balms as my lips are extremely dry. I can't go one day without using something on my lips or they look very chapped and flake. I use Tatcha everynight and again in the morning but lightly before applying my lipstick. It helps so much as my lipstick goes on smoothly! I love the way my lips feel afterwards as they don't look chapped or dry.
